Considerations:  Not a strong stand-alone fit for struggling readers – needs added structured literacy program to include explicit phonics and spelling; requires intensive interventions to scaffold the heavy independent reading load

★★★ Moderate

Best for: Families wanting structured, phonics-based curriculum with moderate support in the elementary years

Considerations: Requires more teacher-led, intensive, diagnostic reading intervention for struggling readers

Easy Peasy All In One

A budget-friendly flexible all-in-one homeschool option that utilizes free internet resources to make its curriculum accessible


MIRA Fit: 

Poor Fit

Best for: Budget-conscious, flexible Christian homeschooling for independent self-motivated learners

Considerations: Reading instruction needs to be replaced or supplemented with parent-added structured literacy language arts curriculum

A budget-friendly, easy to use, Charlotte Mason inspired curriculum where subjects are closely intertwined


MIRA Fit: 

★★ Limited

Best for: Christian K-8 with language arts – including moderate phonics instruction and multisensory reading support – closely interwoven across subject matter 

Considerations:  Not a strong stand-alone fit for dyslexic or significantly struggling readers without added targeted intervention; lacks a systematic approach to teaching phonics
